Accredited course for childcare workers
We are excited to now be able to offer accredited Occupational First Aid Courses for your staff or company.
Many child care workers in pre-school, kindergarten, day care and schools are required to obtain and maintain First Aid qualifications as a condition of employment. Kids FIRST Aid has TAA qualified instructors ready to supply this course over a one-day period with some prior "home-work" to be completed beforehand.
Many employers in child-care have noted that there is very little focus in these courses to conditions and emergencies that specifically relate to children. Therefore, Kids FIRST Aid has developed an accredited course that meets basic requirements but also has an emphasis on childhood emergencies, as opposed to adult ones (though these are still covered).
Course costs include text book, workbook (to be completed prior to Training & Assessment Day), 8 hour face to face instruction. Certificate and national registration - 3 years validity.
This course meets the National Training requirement Unit HLTFA301B Apply First Aid
